I missed the best opportunity in my life

Hi Everyone,

Have you ever heard this quote, “The best in the world maybe is not the best for you”.

Recently i feel it, i’m looking for new opportunity to get new job. I updated my CV and be active in Linked In, update my Jobstreet.com, update JobDB.com. Last month i got an email from HRD Prudential insurance, to interview for rule as senior business analyst. I was so happy that time, it was so amazing and thank to God. Before i become an agent for that company insurance and at that time i got a change to be part of that company. I failed become an agent because i cant persuade people to join with insurance. Lol.

I always think that my work is good for people and can help them, so i don’t think too much to work in car company, or cigarette company, mine company, but got opportunity to work in insurance that can help people while they are not in good condition is awesome.

That time so far so good, while interview they used English and its fun for me that know i got English environment, know that the boss is not friendly with us, got many opportunity to learn many think about insurance, got many event such as family gathering, beside prediction some magazine said that Prudential is one of 100 company that will not bankrupt in 100 year, it looks perfect so far.

Until background checking and my mom always asked me to not lose my THR in PBank, so im buying time in that company. Another consideration my salary have to be more than in PBank. But Prudential offering me not good in salary. So suddenly i refuse that opportunity.

Over the night i thought it always and become regretting i called them again and ask if the opportunity i still get it, but unfortunately they already get another employee for that rule. Lol.

yes, The best thing in the world maybe not the best for you, but i believe that i will face the best for me. Im still seeking for that.

What should we prepare for Bazaar?

I would like to share my first time experience about joining bazaar. I did it today, so it is so fresh in mind. hehe. What is Bazaar is for my expectation bazaar is like market but we do it just for some even, for example for celebration of school, celebration of church. First what should we need to do is, asking for somebody or we got information about bazaar. My sister’s friend got information about bazaar from committee from church, there are two kind of place, such as food stand and non food stand. it is very common in Indonesia, Indonesian people like food so food stand is more expensive than non food stand. For food stand it costs 600K IDR, and for non food stand around 150K IDR, it took place in Alfonsus saint in Pademangan, North Jakarta, Indonesia.

We took non food stand, we considered about many thing such as we are employee so it quiet difficult to make idea for food, and also we considered, it was our first time to take bazaar. We choose playing save than take bigger challenge, loll.

We thought we would sell import clothes, Pre-love clothes – second hand clothes but it was my collection, lamps, Tupperwares, accessories, bags, purses, baby clothes, soap. We took it from other friends that wanted to broad out the items.

Some food stands, they offered such as Siomay, Pempek, Ketupat sayur, some ice, Liang tea, ice creams, bread fried.

In the first minutes or first hour it was really excited, some people come especially older women. I got enthusiasm they asked and look interested with our items, such as soap, but you know they were just asking, they make us exhaustion lost my energy in about two hour, and felt sleep.lol.

Fortunately my sister and her friend keep their energy until the end. I though it was easy but it wasn’t, so i really impressed to merchant who do it everyday. They are really strong to wait and patient for waiting until it become closing items. After bazaar, we celebrated it and we ate in Kalimantan noodle restaurant , it is not far from the bazaar place.

It is good to celebrate our self after we have done working hard, even it is small event. Let’s appreciate our self and thanks to the Lord, it will make us want to do something big and bigger in the next time.

English Lesson – How to use ‘Thought’

English is the most powerful language in the world, to communicate with everyone in around the world. I will tell you about my experience that in my ex-office I have worked easily, my supervisor allow me and understanding me that i can’t speak English. I never thought that i would have experienced with English in my office. Until my second office and i have to be able speak English. It is so stressful because i have no confident with my English, so poor vocabulary. I tried to understand the vendor said and It was from New Zealand. Their accent is amazing so British. I’m so embarrassed when my boss ask me to ask something. She thought that i might like to ask something to them.

When we use ‘thought’, it is happen in the past and it uses for prediction that is might be right and might be wrong. What are the different between ‘thought’ and ‘think’? Think is verb 1, and thought is verb 2. Think, we predict something will be happen and it is right, but for thought, we predict it will be happen but it is not happen in other words their predict is wrong.

For example: I thought you are in classroom, but you are in the park now. Do you have doppelganger?

About doppelganger, will you remember the vampire diaries? about Elena that have 2 or more doppelganger, so fiction isn’t it? lol. So shop opera. The first time i saw the vampire diaries i thought it would be like twilight Bella Swan and Edward but later on it become so different. In this movie we know how vampire live so deep. Live too long or immortal is not always easy they struggle with people we care, how to survive, different time or generation.

My first experience – mass charismatic chatolic

Hi Everyone,

This is my second posting, i really excited to write in blog and try to update it everyday (hopefully ^_*). Okay let’s start, have you done mass charismatic before? for me it was yesterday i did it and it was my first time. How did i attand it?

Two days ago, i greeted my friend, Fitria. She is a member in community catholic. She knows me that i’m a bit interest with activation in church and she also like to share good news, and then she told me about PDKK in bahasa means Persekutuan Doa Karismatik Katolik that would be held tomorrow. In my mind if i didn’t have another activities i would come. I realized that i had a class in my english course, but it was about drinking beer. I chosed went to the church.

I did know nothing, since i was alone went there. After i reached the place, some member greeted me so nicely. I felt so welcome. I said that it was my first time. I entered the big room, i walked and heard loud music. I felt more enthusiastic. I met my old friend, Jimmy. I thought that he is a mamber in the PDKK. He introduced this church to me and now God allowed me to come and saw his assignment. 🙂

In that time, first thing we sang songs with energetic songs. We also moved body to dance follow the songs. We prayed, until time for granting miracle. I saw my surroundings they were so deep pray (i dont know discribe it in to words) pray with believe. When assignment the bishop prayed and let God poured holy spirit to the member and they fell and unconscious. Every member, I saw it for the first time that it happened in my eyes. My stand was not too far from them, so i could see clearly.

When the bishop went around and poured the holy spirit to the partisipant also, in my mind asked “Am i ready to receive it, God?” I was so afraid at that time, but it was nothing happen with me after that. If you guys have experienced like me, dont be afraid it is fine. If we are not ready it is fine. If you want that miracle so just believe. I like a song from Mariah Carry – When you believe.

The miracle give us able to speak holy spirit language and I think it is not only that skill, but the gift are more than that and many. I asked some friends that know about that experience. All people that receive that gift, felt so peace, they saw sky was so clear, they saw a golden river. it was like in heaven.

I want to receive that gift too, i want to feel that feeling. the way to receive it, we must believe totally to God, we must lay on all our problems to God only, trust Him, forgive yourself. Since i’m a newcomer so i just know a bit. Don’t be offended. It is just my experience with Mass Charismatic Chatolic.

This is my first posting. My name is Yuri Ari Jayanti. My friends call me Yuri. I am an IT women but Im a lazy girl so i just a beginner for blogging and kind of this stuff. I live in Indonesia, and I love my country so much, later im gonna talk about my country and my experiance about it, because i love travelling and Indonesia’s cultures is so amazing. I like writing diary but i never have tried to write it in blog because i think it is private, until i realize i have to share what i learn with people.

I will share also about my learning in english, my experience with Jesus Chris, book that i read, fashion, or IT stuff, etc. Because Im working for local bank as analyser, so im gonna talk about banking also.

I like learning something new. At that time, im afraid to get and make mistake but now, since im young i need make mistakes as many as i can, to be better person in the future. So don’t afraid to make mistakes. Remember it is all process.

I have friends that really love me, and i love them too, I have family that never tired to remind me for my bad things/habit. I always try to love they who care and love me rather than care who hate me. What do i hate? em,. dark, high place, horror, someone that make me tobe a bad person and far from my Jesus Chris.

I hope you will like my posting, hopefully it will help people and for myself, hopefully i get more and more adventures, to get that i realize that i need to be different than myself now, so i dont afraid to be different. because if i just be the same so the world will be the same for me.
